- Stand straight, with your feet together.
- Take a deep breath and as you slowly exhale, extend your arms high up and bend forward to touch your toes or the floor. Try and place the entire palm on the floor.
- Stay in this position for 5 counts while breathing normally.
- Inhale deeply and slowly straighten
- If you are unable to reach the ground,cross your arms and clasp each elbow with the opposite hand.
Vajrasana Position for Hair Fall Control
- Sit on the floor with your back straight and legs stretched out in front. Place your hands, palms down, by your side.
- Slowly fold your legs, one by one, and place them under your thighs. You should be resting on your ankles.
- Keep your hands on your thighs. Relax and breathe slowly.
- To return to the original position slowly straighten your legs.
- This is the only asana that can be done right after eating.
Sarvangasana Position for Hair Fall Control
- Lie on the floor with your legs stretched out.
- Fold your legs and slowly raise them straight.
- Support your back and hips with your hands, and try and raise your body while balancing on your shoulders. Your elbows should be on the floor.
- Continue breathing evenly and bring your chin into your chest.
- Return to the original position slowly until you are lying flat again.
Sasangasana Position for Hair Fall Control
- Sit down with your knees on the floor while resting on your heels.
- Place your hands behind and clasp your heels.
- Move forward until your head is touching the floor. At the same time raise your hips while breathing evenly.
- Hold this position until five breaths.
- Exhale and slowly return to the starting position.
- Sit with your knees on the floor andlegs extended back, forming a right angle with your thighs.
- Slowly bend backward and try and hold your heels with your hands.
- Look up at the ceiling to fully stretch your spine.
- Exhale while slowly coming back to the starting position.
- Lie straight keeping your legs together. Your hands should be under your thighs with the palms facing downwards.
- Slowly pull your upper torso up, dropping your head behind until the crown touches the ground.
- Breathe in deeply and hold the position for 5 breaths.
- Get on your knees and hands. Your hands should be in line with yourshoulders,and your knees with your hips.
- Push your hips up and slowly straighten your legs until your weight is on your hands and your toes.
- Straighten your spine as much as you can.
- Relax and bring your hips down slowly until you are resting in the first position.
Eating a balanced diet along with doing these asanas is also important. Eat plenty of fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, cereals and dairy products to nourish your hair.
