Ingredients (serves 4 people)

  • 1 bunch of carrots
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint
  • 1 tablespoon of butter or canola oil
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Scrub carrots and slice into thin circles.

  2. Place in steamer basket over gently boiling water and cook until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

  3. Transfer to bowl and toss with chopped mint, butter or oil, and salt and pepper to taste
