7 Simple, Snap-Quick Home Remedies For Hair-free Upper Lips.

Bleach it, tweeze it, wax it or shave it. Face it, that upper lip fuzz is going nowhere. Unless you try some of these unbelievable home remedies.

A magnificent handlebar moustache, a fine French line, a luxurious Rajasthani twirl … these are fine, even appreciated, but only on men.

While women are unlikely to compete with the male gender on this scale, there are many of us who suffer from the embarrassing line of hair on our upper lip.

Upper lip hair removal means a trip to the salon every month to wax it off (ouch!) or to thread it (slower ouch!) or to undergo electrolysis (expensive ouch). If not done correctly, electrolysis could leave tiny spots. And don’t even get started on the idea of running electric current, however little it might be, through your skin.

Some of these methods work, but only temporarily. The inconvenience of going to the salon, paying through your nose and the discomfort are too much to continue with forever. Could there be easier methods for facial hair removal for women?

Here are a few simple home remedies that work just as well, and in some cases, even better. Using these home products, found in every kitchen, can be an easier way to get rid of upper lip hair than making an appointment for a ‘moustache wax’.

1. Turmeric and milk, or water
Mix a little turmeric powder and milk to form a paste. Apply it on your upper lip area. When dry, scrub it off, removing hair as well.

1. Lemon juice, sugar and water
A paste of lemon, sugar and water works on fine upper lip hair. Apply and let it remain for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.

2. Egg white and corn flour, mixed with sugar
Take one teaspoon of corn flour and sugar to the white of an egg. Apply to your upper lip. Peel off when dry to become hair-free.

3. Chana dal and turmeric, added to milk
Take chana dal flour, add a pinch of turmeric and just enough milk to make a paste. Just before applying, drop in a teaspoon of fresh malai. Scrub it off when dry to remove the hair.

4. Sugar and lemon, cooked to make homemade wax
Heat 2 teaspoons of sugar. Add one teaspoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice and make a paste. When cool, put on the unwanted hair. Take a cotton strip and place it on the hair. Press the cloth down and pull it up quickly.

5. Yoghurt, besan and turmeric
Mix together yoghurt, besan and turmeric, and massage it into your upper lip. After it dries, gently scrub it against hair growth. Wash your face clean.

6. White flour, turmeric and cold milk
White flour, turmeric and cold milk are mixed to form a thick paste. Add a little fresh malai to the paste before applying it to your upper lip. Let it stay for half an hour. After it dries, rub it gently against the direction of hair to remove hair. Also, check out 6 amazing benefits of almond oil for beautiful skin here.
