Hair fall triggers: men vs women
The different triggers for hair fall between the sexes

While dandruff is one common factor causing hair fall for both men and women, there are some triggers accounting for hair fall that differ between the two genders. For instance, women tend to style their hair more often, subjecting their hair to more damage. Hair styling appliances like hair dryers or curling irons and regular chemical processing exposes their hair to greater damage.
If the hair is not properly cared for or treated and the damage accumulates, its health deteriorates, increasing the risk of breakage. Men, on the other hand, usually adopt a more careless attitude towards their hair. One bad habit would be washing it vigorously with cleansers such as soap or shower gel instead of a good quality shampoo, these can be very harsh on the scalp and hair. Over time, this can reduce the hair quality and lead to breakage and subsequent hair fall.
